MEET OUR PASTOR
Bishop Sylvester Mixon, Jr.
As the founding pastor of Unity Christian Center, Sylvester, now in his nineteenth year, has served in many facets of church leadership and ministry.
Sylvester studied in pastoral ministry and biblical leadership at Trinity Theological Seminary, Newburgh, IN. He is an avid student of the Bible, exemplifying 2 Timothy 2:15, "a workman unashamed." He is a licensed and certified John Maxwell Leadership speaker and coach.

Kids
Infant through 7th grade experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.
Youth
We get a chance to know, own, and share Jesus Christ in a counter cultural and relevant way. Students are building purposeful relationship and living out loud for Jesus
Become A Partner
Here at Unity Christian Center, we use the term partners instead of members. We want each person to know that when you make the decision to come alongside us, you are partnering together to bring the vision of the house alive!
Worship
Services begin with the UCC band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.
Life Groups
Life groups are a key aspect of our church community. Most meet weekly either in the home of a group member or at church. We try to keep them limited to about 12 people. If you can't find an open group, please let us know!
